This 17” spalted maple salad bowl took a hard fall onto a brick pathway at a show in Pensacola. That provided an opportunity to do a kintsugi style repair on it. In Japanese tradition, broken pottery is mended with gold (the word literally means “golden repair”) In this case, I used turquoise along with opal in smaller “defects”
